The work, performed by the young Padua artist Ludovica Babolin, bears the name quot;ROSA BLUquot;.
The work depicts a blue rose that has blossomed. The cut she has been given is purely a photographer.
The printing was made using the woodcut technique. Each color has been attributed to a matrix of hand-carved wood, by special wood-cutting. The four matrices were inked, one at a time, with a rubber roller and then printed on the sheet of paper thanks to a press.
The print size is 14 x 13 cm, while the print paper size is 32.5 x 24 cm.
The work was printed on white smooth paper.
