Very rare, very old, Baku Chilla Caucasian Rug, wool on wool foundation. Dozer size 6’2”x 3’11”. Estimated to be 120-140 years old, wear, some old repair and reweaving on one corner, carpet pile worn, but mostly evenly. Still and impressive object and very similar to one at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. Came from a private estate collection in Central Illinois.
